Product Detail

Raven's is a leading global assessment of mental and abstract reasoning ability. Initially developed in 1936 by John C. Raven, the APM and SPM are well established and validated tools that are widely used by organisations in helping to identify individuals with advanced observation and clear thinking skills and the ability to learn.

The non verbal nature of the Raven’s assessments ensures that cultural/language bias is minimised making it suitable for most candidates.

The Advanced Progressive Matrices (APM)

The APM is suitable for senior manager, professional and technical positions and can be used to differentiate between individuals of higher intellectual capability. The APM is delivered online and the candidate is given 40 minutes in which to complete 23 questions. Items become increasingly difficult as progress is made through the test

The APM Measures inductive reasoning, which is the ability to analyse information and solve problems on an intricate, thought based level. It measures candidates' fluid intelligence - this is the ability to think clearly and make sense of complexity.
