Ability Asessments

Watson Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal
The Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal assesses the individual's capability for critical thinking - a discrete skill distinct from, but not independent of, overall intelligence. It is available online and contains 40 items drawn from an item banked and candidates have a maximum of 30 minutes to complete the test. The assessment can be used for selection and development and is suitable for Senior Leader, Manager and Graduate roles.

SHL Essential Business Skills Assessments
Essential skills tests for clerical or business skills are ideal for entry-level roles where education or experience may be poor predictors of job performance. These online tools provide a quick and cost effective way of determining whether your candidates will have the basic skills required to do the job.

Raven's APM & SPM Assessment
The Raven's tests assess an individual's abstract reasoning ability through a series of matrices in which the individual is required to select the correct image to complete a pattern. The non verbal nature of the test means that it is a good indicator of general intelligence whilst minimising the impact of language or culture.

Hogan Business Reasoning Inventory
The Hogan Business Reasoning Inventory (HBRI) describes reasoning style - the ability to evaluate sets of data, make decisions, solve problems, and avoid repeating past mistakes. By assessing reasoning style, you can identify candidates' problem-solving style, understand their capacity, and identify areas for development.

Differential Aptitudes Test (DAT)
DAT is a gold-standard suite of assessments measuring cognitive abilities in a number of different areas. This latest edition, DAT™ Next Generation combines cutting-edge Computerised Adaptive Testing technology or CAT to offer five new DAT tests in a number of languages.
